    Equipment design and operation distinctive features.

    A dosing unit consists of several functional units:

    • Reagent tank;
    • Dozing unit;
    • Control and monitoring unit.

    Hardware of control and monitoring units may significantly differ depending on dozing concept implemented. Continuous mode of operation requires only a counter of volumetric water discharge and a pressure gage. They generate a signal which is transmitted to a dozing pump. An accurately measured doze of reagents is supplied to water flow; this doze is in compliance with preset values.

    Nonlinear dozing is another dozing concept; such dozing depends on the quality of incoming flow. Temperature sensors, conductivity probes, ph sensors are included depending on parameters under control. The dozing pump may be activated for various periods of time depending on readings of devices installed additionally.

    Equipment advantages:

    • Simple and reliable operation of the unit;
    • Possibility for full automation of operation (with the exception of preparation of reagent solutions);
    • Possibility for integration of the control and monitoring unit into the unified automated control system of water treatment and conditioning processes;
    • Use of anticorrosive materials for the dozing unit assemblies.
